Learn how to offer support to your peers and others during this pandemic. Ms. Mia Jones and Ms. Queayla Sablan from the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation Community Guidance Center will also be answering your questions.

 

Speakers:

Mia Jones (Presenter)

Mia is a graduate from Northern Marianas College with an Associate’s in Liberal Arts. She later earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Eatern Oregon University and a Master’s in Psychology from Walden University. She is a certified trainer for various suicide prevention trainings and a certified Grief Recovery Specialist. She is currently the Lead Prevention Specialist for the Garett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention Progams under the CHCC-Community Guidance Center.
 

Queayla Sablan (Presenter)

Queayla is currently a Prevention Specialist at the Garrett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention Program. She was born and raised on Saipan. She graduated college in Hawaii and worked in Hawaii’s child welfare system, substance abuse, and suicide prevention programs. Queayla decided to move back to the CNMI to give back to our community.
 

Dan Salde (Host)

Dan is currently a student at Saipan Southern High School. His passion towards the youth and the community has motivated him and others to do their best and volunteer. Dan is currently the Public Relations Officer of the 4-H Marianas youth council and the Vice-President of the 4-H Saipan Club.
