Also present were Division of Youth Services officials and staff led by Administrator Vivian Sablan and Rotaract Club of Saipan officers and members led by their president, Richard Enrico Baleares.

After signing the proclamation, the governor pledged $10,000 to the club, the same amount that was committed last year.

He applauded NMC-CREES for its continued commitment to the partnership with the youth club, saying he agrees with Coleman that the club instills leadership and other skills in its members.

The proclamation signing was followed by a mini carnival.

4-H is America’s largest youth development organization, supporting nearly six million boys and girls across the country. It was founded in the NMI in 1950, and since then it has helped over 20,000 boys and girls to become confident, independent, resilient and compassionate leaders.
