The Disaster Response Advanced First Aid (DRAFA) - Basic Disaster First Aid (BDFA) certification course provides community members with the knowledge and skills to assist during natural disasters. Some topic areas include: 

• How to assess a scene after a natural disaster

• How to conduct basic first aid on minor or major injuries

• How to use commonly found household items as medical tools
