Agroforestry Program

The Agroforestry Program provides technical assistance and workshops for both commercial farmers and subsistence producers across Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. Our initiative centers on educating stakeholders about regenerative agricultural principles and revitalizing traditional agroforestry systems. We advocate practices that enrich soil fertility and health, optimize water percolation and retention, promote biodiversity conservation, and bolster ecosystem resilience. Additionally, our efforts focus on carbon sequestration to mitigate climate change.
