Northern Marianas College recently welcomed Dr. Cheng Sheng Lee, the executive director for the Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture, as he visited the NMC Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services-Aquaculture and Natural Resources Program Center.
During his visit, he engaged in discussions with key figures, including NMC-CREES A&NR Program Leader Michael Ogo, NMC-CREES Interim Dean Patty Coleman, and NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero. Dr. Lee discussed the current forktail rabbitfish capacity building project with Ogo, and shared his feedback on the project’s progress. Dr. Lee also visited to CREES Aquaculture client farms and met with CNMI stakeholders to discuss future funding opportunities for aquaculture projects.
