Rosabelle Surla, former 4-H Marianas State Youth Council public relations officer and Camp Maga’lahi overall lead counselor, has been appointed collegiate facilitator for the 2025 National 4-H Conference.
One of 22 selected nationwide, this honor acknowledges her commitment to youth development. Surla also served as a collegiate facilitator at the 2024 conference, leading a roundtable on intergenerational environmental justice and presenting findings to the White House Council on Environmental Quality. At the 2025 National 4-H Conference, Surla will create an engaging experience for youth delegates, facilitating discussions on leadership, community service, and sustainability, while fostering camaraderie. Her dedication to civic service includes leadership roles such as representing the CNMI as a youth delegate at the 2022 National 4-H Conference, founding Clover Designs, serving as vice president of the Marianas High School 4-H Dolphins, and participating in various volunteer initiatives. Surla has received multiple honors, including the Camp Maga’lahi Excellence in Leadership Award, the Maga’lahi Award, and recognition on the President’s and Dean’s Lists at Western Oregon University.
